WHAT TO EXPECT FOR FAMILY PORTRAITS

We can use your comfortable home, my studio or any other place that are familiar and meaningful to you, I can comfortably handle our photo shoot. In my studio I have a variety of unique backdrops and extensive lighting. At your home session, it shows your natural environment. If coming to you, I can bring additional lighting to supplement your natural light condition. If outside, 2 hours after sunrise and 2 hours before sunset are the best times. During the CONSULTATION, together we develop an understanding of what you want for your session, a best date, time(working around kid’s naps), light, location and much more. If you or anyone else from the family have insecurities regarding photography feel free and share with me. Let’s get that out of the way.

CLOTHING:

Be comfortable. Clothing could be your signature and style. Think coordination, not matching. NO logos, please. Keep the look timeless, well fitting, not too tight not too baggy. I would recommend wearing solid colors. SESSIONS usually last 1-2 hours. Stay cool. As you know, kids pick up on your stress. My goal is to pick up their true expressions. Make sure they are well fed before the session, so we can get the best-behaved children and calm adults.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER

Your images will be up online within a week (in a private gallery). A week later, I set up an in-studio or over the phone consultation to pick the images for your home, office or gifts.

CUSTOM PRINTS AS ARTWORK.

The most valuable images, lasting images should be printed at the highest standards possible. With many years of experience as an exhibiting artist, with artwork in many permanent museum and private collections, I can help to decide what images work together, style of framing and most effectively having Master prints on exhibition fiber museum quality paper.
